Brisbane Removalist

At On the move Removals we don’t compromise on either our prices or our services, which is why we comply with the most rigorous quality tests. We understand that we’re dealing with people and not just belongings. That’s why we make customer satisfaction a priority, offering home movers affordable prices and fully approved services.
Our prices and removal packages are somewhat of an exception in Brisbane in the removals industry. You might ask yourself…what’s the catch? There’s no catch. We keep our prices low and our removal services exceptional through strategic forward planning.
Here is what our customers are saying;
The service I received was fantastic. The two guys arrived on time. They were very professional. They had all the ties, blankets etc to prevent my goods from being damaged in transit. The whole move was completed in around 2.5 hours. The price I was eventually charged was around 30% of the price that I had been quoted by the “big name” companies but I fail to see how any of the “big name” companies could have provided a service that was any better than what I received. In total I would whole heartedly recommend this company to anybody.

How to Remove Brisbane Removals Furniture Dents From Carpet

How to Remove Furniture Dents from Carpet
from wikiHow – The How to Manual That You Can Edit
When a leg of a chair, bed, couch, table, or other type of furniture is placed on a carpet, it will often create an unsightly dent. This articles explains an easy, effective and cheap way to remove these problem spots.

Things You’ll Need

  • 1 ice cube per carpet dent
  • White paper towels or colorfast cloth (optional)
  • Fork (optional)

Steps

  1. Move your furniture to uncover carpet dents. [1]
  2. Drop 1 ice cube in each dent. Large or long dents may require multiple ice cubes.
  3. Let the ice cubes melt. As they melt, the nap of the carpet will begin to fluff back up, reducing (and eventually removing) the dent.
  4. Check the results the next morning. If necessary, blot up excess water with white paper towel or colorfast cloth.
  5. If the nap hasn’t recovered completely, use a fork to gently lift remaining carpet fibers.
  6. Repeat for persistent dents.

Tips

  • Always test this method first with one ice cube in an inconspicuous spot. Lift carpet corner to see that the water hasn’t damaged the under flooring.[2]
  • If some dents will not disappear, mist these spots with a water bottle and use a blow dryerwhile fluffing the area manually. [3]

Warnings

  • Be careful if you have wood floors underneath. Test a less visible spot first to make sure moisture does not damage the wood.
  • Do not use this method on hand dyed rugs, antique carpets, delicate or valuable rugs, or on fibers not compatible with water cleaning.
  • For long or deep dents that require more than one ice cube, do not flood the area with too much water.
